GOVERNMENT ORDER

Subject: The use of a transport vehicle by permit holders under the Karnataka Motor Vehicles Taxation Act, 1957, regarding.

1. In the circumstances reported by the Highway Administration Officer, the Government of Karnataka, after careful examination, hereby orders that every permit holder carrying on the use of a transport vehicle shall furnish Form 1 to the Transport Commissioner within forty-five days.

2. The matter has been examined. Every permit holder carrying on the use of a transport vehicle shall make an application in Form 1 to the Transport Commissioner within forty-five days, accompanied by a fee of five thousand rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the use of a transport vehicle is undertaken, and the Transport Commissioner shall dispose of it within forty-five days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Information Technology Department, Government of Karnataka.
