GOVERNMENT ORDER
Subject: The occupation of land near a monument by occupiers of land near a monument under the Maharashtra Ancient Monuments and Archaeological Sites and Remains Act, 1960, regarding.
1. In the circumstances reported by the Director General, the Government of Maharashtra, after careful examination, hereby orders that every occupier of land near a monument carrying on the occupation of land near a monument shall furnish Form III to the Authority within one hundred and twenty days.
2. The matter has been examined. Every occupier of land near a monument carrying on the occupation of land near a monument shall make an application in Form III to the Authority within one hundred and twenty days, accompanied by a fee of fifty rupees.
3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the occupation of land near a monument is undertaken, and the Authority shall dispose of it within one hundred and twenty days of its receipt.
4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Tourism Department, Government of Maharashtra.
