GOVERNMENT ORDER

Subject: The provision of security services in a cantonment by operators of a private security service in a cantonment under the Karnataka Control of Organised Crimes Act, 2002, regarding.

1. In the circumstances reported by the commanding officer, the Government of Karnataka, after careful examination, hereby orders that every operator of a private security service in a cantonment carrying on the provision of security services in a cantonment shall furnish Form H to the Government of Karnataka within thirty days.

2. The matter has been examined. Every operator of a private security service in a cantonment carrying on the provision of security services in a cantonment shall make an application in Form H to the Government of Karnataka within thirty days, accompanied by a fee of fifty rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the provision of security services in a cantonment is undertaken, and the Government of Karnataka shall dispose of it within thirty days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Information Technology Department, Government of Karnataka.
