GOVERNMENT RESOLUTION
Subject: The keeping of animals by keepers of animals within the municipal limits under the Mumbai Municipal Corporation Act, 1888, regarding.
1. In the circumstances reported by the Municipal Commissioner, the Government of Maharashtra, after careful examination, hereby orders that every keeper of animals within the municipal limits carrying on the keeping of animals shall furnish Form D to the Municipal Council within thirty days.
2. The matter has been examined. Every keeper of animals within the municipal limits carrying on the keeping of animals shall make an application in Form D to the Municipal Council within thirty days, accompanied by a fee of five hundred rupees.
3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the keeping of animals is undertaken, and the Municipal Council shall dispose of it within thirty days of its receipt.
4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government resolution may be brought to the notice of the Revenue Department, Government of Maharashtra.
