Chennai, dated the 28th September, 2016

GOVERNMENT ORDER

Subject: The running of a children's home by operators of a children's home under the Tamil Nadu Prohibition of Harassment of Woman Act, 2002, regarding.

1. In the circumstances reported by the Case Worker, the Government of Tamil Nadu, after careful examination, hereby orders that every operator of a children's home carrying on the running of a children's home shall furnish Form I to the Local Complaints Committee within seven days.

2. The matter has been examined. Every operator of a children's home carrying on the running of a children's home shall make an application in Form I to the Local Complaints Committee within seven days, accompanied by a fee of ten rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the running of a children's home is undertaken, and the Local Complaints Committee shall dispose of it within seven days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Transport Department, Government of Tamil Nadu.
