New Delhi, dated the 9th May, 2016

GOVERNMENT ORDER

Subject: The sinking of a well on Government land by owners of a well on Government land under the Delhi Land Reforms Act, 1954, regarding.

1. In the circumstances reported by the Tahsildar, the Government of the National Capital Territory of Delhi, after careful examination, hereby orders that every owner of a well on Government land carrying on the sinking of a well on Government land shall furnish Form 14 to the Settlement Officer within one hundred and twenty days.

2. The matter has been examined. Every owner of a well on Government land carrying on the sinking of a well on Government land shall make an application in Form 14 to the Settlement Officer within one hundred and twenty days, accompanied by a fee of two thousand rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the sinking of a well on Government land is undertaken, and the Settlement Officer shall dispose of it within one hundred and twenty days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Housing Department, Government of the National Capital Territory of Delhi.
