Amaravati, dated the 11th April, 2016

GOVERNMENT ORDER

Subject: The management of a waqf by mutawallis under the Andhra Pradesh Societies Registration Act, 2001, regarding.

1. In the circumstances reported by the Inspector of Endowments, the Government of Andhra Pradesh, after careful examination, hereby orders that every mutawalli carrying on the management of a waqf shall furnish Form D to the Government of Andhra Pradesh within fifteen days.

2. The matter has been examined. Every mutawalli carrying on the management of a waqf shall make an application in Form D to the Government of Andhra Pradesh within fifteen days, accompanied by a fee of five thousand rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the management of a waqf is undertaken, and the Government of Andhra Pradesh shall dispose of it within fifteen days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Industries and Commerce Department, Government of Andhra Pradesh.
