GOVERNMENT ORDER

Subject: The use of the national emblem by users of the national emblem under the Maharashtra Official Languages Act, 1965, regarding.

1. In the circumstances reported by the Section Officer, the Government of Maharashtra, after careful examination, hereby orders that every user of the national emblem carrying on the use of the national emblem shall furnish Form G to the Competent Authority within fifteen days.

2. The matter has been examined. Every user of the national emblem carrying on the use of the national emblem shall make an application in Form G to the Competent Authority within fifteen days, accompanied by a fee of five hundred rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the use of the national emblem is undertaken, and the Competent Authority shall dispose of it within fifteen days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the General Administration Department, Government of Maharashtra.
