GOVERNMENT ORDER

Subject: The sub-letting of premises by sub-tenants under the Tamil Nadu Housing Board Act, 1961, regarding.

1. In the circumstances reported by the Deputy Registrar, the Government of Tamil Nadu, after careful examination, hereby orders that every sub-tenant carrying on the sub-letting of premises shall furnish Form C to the Housing Board within forty-five days.

2. The matter has been examined. Every sub-tenant carrying on the sub-letting of premises shall make an application in Form C to the Housing Board within forty-five days, accompanied by a fee of fifty thousand rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the sub-letting of premises is undertaken, and the Housing Board shall dispose of it within forty-five days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Housing Department, Government of Tamil Nadu.
