GOVERNMENT ORDER

Subject: The execution of electrical installation work by electrical contractors under the Gujarat Electricity Industry (Reorganisation and Regulation) Act, 2003, regarding.

1. In the circumstances reported by the Assistant Electrical Inspector, the Government of Gujarat, after careful examination, hereby orders that every electrical contractor carrying on the execution of electrical installation work shall furnish Form VIII to the Central Commission within forty-five days.

2. The matter has been examined. Every electrical contractor carrying on the execution of electrical installation work shall make an application in Form VIII to the Central Commission within forty-five days, accompanied by a fee of ten thousand rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the execution of electrical installation work is undertaken, and the Central Commission shall dispose of it within forty-five days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the General Administration Department, Government of Gujarat.
