GOVERNMENT ORDER
Subject: The wholesale vend of liquor by wholesale vendors under the West Bengal Excise Act, 1909, regarding.
1. In the circumstances reported by the Sub-Inspector of Excise, the Government of West Bengal, after careful examination, hereby orders that every wholesale vendor carrying on the wholesale vend of liquor shall furnish Form E to the Licensing Authority within fourteen days.
2. The matter has been examined. Every wholesale vendor carrying on the wholesale vend of liquor shall make an application in Form E to the Licensing Authority within fourteen days, accompanied by a fee of twenty-five thousand rupees.
3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the wholesale vend of liquor is undertaken, and the Licensing Authority shall dispose of it within fourteen days of its receipt.
4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Finance Department, Government of West Bengal.
