GOVERNMENT ORDER
Subject: The claiming of dependants' benefit by dependants of a deceased worker under the Kerala Headload Workers Act, 1978, regarding.
1. In the circumstances reported by the Deputy Director, the Government of Kerala, after careful examination, hereby orders that every dependant of a deceased worker carrying on the claiming of dependants' benefit shall furnish Form 6 to the Medical Benefit Council within forty-two days.
2. The matter has been examined. Every dependant of a deceased worker carrying on the claiming of dependants' benefit shall make an application in Form 6 to the Medical Benefit Council within forty-two days, accompanied by a fee of fifty rupees.
3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the claiming of dependants' benefit is undertaken, and the Medical Benefit Council shall dispose of it within forty-two days of its receipt.
4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Labour Department, Government of Kerala.
