GOVERNMENT ORDER

Subject: The carrying on of a dangerous or offensive trade by owners of a dangerous or offensive trade under the Karnataka Municipal Corporations Act, 1977, regarding.

1. In the circumstances reported by the Health Officer, the Government of Karnataka, after careful examination, hereby orders that every owner of a dangerous or offensive trade carrying on the carrying on of a dangerous or offensive trade shall furnish Form B to the Town Planning Authority within ninety days.

2. The matter has been examined. Every owner of a dangerous or offensive trade carrying on the carrying on of a dangerous or offensive trade shall make an application in Form B to the Town Planning Authority within ninety days, accompanied by a fee of ten thousand rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the carrying on of a dangerous or offensive trade is undertaken, and the Town Planning Authority shall dispose of it within ninety days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Industries and Commerce Department, Government of Karnataka.
