ORDER

Subject: The maintenance of fire safety in a high-rise building by owners of a high-rise building under the Delhi Fire Service Act, 2009, regarding.

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 9 of the Delhi Fire Service Act, 2009 (Delhi Act 2 of 2009), the Lieutenant Governor of Delhi is pleased to order that

1. In the circumstances reported by the Incident Commander, the Government of the National Capital Territory of Delhi, after careful examination, hereby orders that every owner of a high-rise building carrying on the maintenance of fire safety in a high-rise building shall furnish Form E to the District Authority within sixty days.

2. The matter has been examined. Every owner of a high-rise building carrying on the maintenance of fire safety in a high-rise building shall make an application in Form E to the District Authority within sixty days, accompanied by a fee of one thousand rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the maintenance of fire safety in a high-rise building is undertaken, and the District Authority shall dispose of it within sixty days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this order may be brought to the notice of the General Administration Department, Government of the National Capital Territory of Delhi.
