Chandigarh, dated the 13th June, 2015

GOVERNMENT ORDER

Subject: The removal of earth from Government land by persons removing earth from Government land under the Punjab Security of Land Tenures Act, 1953, regarding.

1. In the circumstances reported by the Deputy Tahsildar, the Government of Punjab, after careful examination, hereby orders that every person removing earth from Government land carrying on the removal of earth from Government land shall furnish Form 8 to the Settlement Officer within ninety days.

2. The matter has been examined. Every person removing earth from Government land carrying on the removal of earth from Government land shall make an application in Form 8 to the Settlement Officer within ninety days, accompanied by a fee of twenty rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the removal of earth from Government land is undertaken, and the Settlement Officer shall dispose of it within ninety days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the General Administration Department, Government of Punjab.
