GOVERNMENT ORDER
Subject: The tapping of toddy by toddy tappers under the West Bengal Excise Act, 1909, regarding.
1. In the circumstances reported by the Excise Inspector, the Government of West Bengal, after careful examination, hereby orders that every toddy tapper carrying on the tapping of toddy shall furnish Form H to the Excise Appellate Authority within seven days.
2. The matter has been examined. Every toddy tapper carrying on the tapping of toddy shall make an application in Form H to the Excise Appellate Authority within seven days, accompanied by a fee of five hundred rupees.
3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the tapping of toddy is undertaken, and the Excise Appellate Authority shall dispose of it within seven days of its receipt.
4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Information Technology Department, Government of West Bengal.
