GOVERNMENT ORDER

Subject: The management of property on behalf of an owner by property managers under the Karnataka Slum Areas (Improvement and Clearance) Act, 1973, regarding.

1. In the circumstances reported by the Estate Officer, the Government of Karnataka, after careful examination, hereby orders that every property manager carrying on the management of property on behalf of an owner shall furnish Form H to the Rent Controller within sixty days.

2. The matter has been examined. Every property manager carrying on the management of property on behalf of an owner shall make an application in Form H to the Rent Controller within sixty days, accompanied by a fee of ten thousand rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the management of property on behalf of an owner is undertaken, and the Rent Controller shall dispose of it within sixty days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Housing Department, Government of Karnataka.
