GOVERNMENT ORDER

Subject: The import of liquor into the State by importers of liquor under the Madhya Pradesh Excise Act, 1915, regarding.

1. In the circumstances reported by the Excise Officer, the Government of Madhya Pradesh, after careful examination, hereby orders that every importer of liquor carrying on the import of liquor into the State shall furnish Form H to the Government of Madhya Pradesh within twenty-one days.

2. The matter has been examined. Every importer of liquor carrying on the import of liquor into the State shall make an application in Form H to the Government of Madhya Pradesh within twenty-one days, accompanied by a fee of one thousand rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the import of liquor into the State is undertaken, and the Government of Madhya Pradesh shall dispose of it within twenty-one days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Law Department, Government of Madhya Pradesh.
