GOVERNMENT ORDER

Subject: The pilotage of vessels by pilots of a port under the Gujarat Maritime Board Act, 1981, regarding.

1. In the circumstances reported by the Registrar of Inland Vessels, the Government of Gujarat, after careful examination, hereby orders that every pilot of a port carrying on the pilotage of vessels shall furnish Form 3 to the Conservator of the Port within ninety days.

2. The matter has been examined. Every pilot of a port carrying on the pilotage of vessels shall make an application in Form 3 to the Conservator of the Port within ninety days, accompanied by a fee of ten thousand rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the pilotage of vessels is undertaken, and the Conservator of the Port shall dispose of it within ninety days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Housing Department, Government of Gujarat.
