GOVERNMENT ORDER
Subject: The holding of Government land on lease by lessees of Government land under the Puducherry Land Reforms (Fixation of Ceiling on Land) Act, 1973, regarding.
1. In the circumstances reported by the Village Accountant, the Government of Puducherry, after careful examination, hereby orders that every lessee of Government land carrying on the holding of Government land on lease shall furnish Form 5 to the Sub-Divisional Officer within sixty days.
2. The matter has been examined. Every lessee of Government land carrying on the holding of Government land on lease shall make an application in Form 5 to the Sub-Divisional Officer within sixty days, accompanied by a fee of one thousand rupees.
3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the holding of Government land on lease is undertaken, and the Sub-Divisional Officer shall dispose of it within sixty days of its receipt.
4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Law Department, Government of Puducherry.
