GOVERNMENT ORDER

Subject: The running of an anganwadi centre by anganwadi centres under the Tamil Nadu Prohibition of Harassment of Woman Act, 2002, regarding.

1. In the circumstances reported by the District Child Protection Officer, the Government of Tamil Nadu, after careful examination, hereby orders that every anganwadi centre carrying on the running of an anganwadi centre shall furnish Form VIII to the District Child Protection Unit within sixty days.

2. The matter has been examined. Every anganwadi centre carrying on the running of an anganwadi centre shall make an application in Form VIII to the District Child Protection Unit within sixty days, accompanied by a fee of two hundred rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the running of an anganwadi centre is undertaken, and the District Child Protection Unit shall dispose of it within sixty days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Finance Department, Government of Tamil Nadu.
