GOVERNMENT ORDER

Subject: The broadcasting of programmes by broadcasters under the Andhra Pradesh Cinemas (Regulation) Act, 1955, regarding.

1. In the circumstances reported by the Regional Officer of the Board, the Government of Andhra Pradesh, after careful examination, hereby orders that every broadcaster carrying on the broadcasting of programmes shall furnish Form VI to the Press Council within fifteen days.

2. The matter has been examined. Every broadcaster carrying on the broadcasting of programmes shall make an application in Form VI to the Press Council within fifteen days, accompanied by a fee of fifty thousand rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the broadcasting of programmes is undertaken, and the Press Council shall dispose of it within fifteen days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Transport Department, Government of Andhra Pradesh.
