GOVERNMENT RESOLUTION
Subject: The business of a nidhi by nidhi companies under the Maharashtra Protection of Interest of Depositors (in Financial Establishments) Act, 2000, regarding.
1. In the circumstances reported by the Assistant Registrar, the Government of Maharashtra, after careful examination, hereby orders that every nidhi company carrying on the business of a nidhi shall furnish Form C to the Financial Redress Agency within seven days.
2. The matter has been examined. Every nidhi company carrying on the business of a nidhi shall make an application in Form C to the Financial Redress Agency within seven days, accompanied by a fee of five hundred rupees.
3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the business of a nidhi is undertaken, and the Financial Redress Agency shall dispose of it within seven days of its receipt.
4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government resolution may be brought to the notice of the Finance Department, Government of Maharashtra.
