GOVERNMENT ORDER

Subject: The retail sale of petroleum products by retail outlet dealers under the Gujarat Electricity Industry (Reorganisation and Regulation) Act, 2003, regarding.

1. In the circumstances reported by the Chief Electrical Inspector, the Government of Gujarat, after careful examination, hereby orders that every retail outlet dealer carrying on the retail sale of petroleum products shall furnish Form V to the Petroleum and Natural Gas Regulatory Board within ninety days.

2. The matter has been examined. Every retail outlet dealer carrying on the retail sale of petroleum products shall make an application in Form V to the Petroleum and Natural Gas Regulatory Board within ninety days, accompanied by a fee of one lakh rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the retail sale of petroleum products is undertaken, and the Petroleum and Natural Gas Regulatory Board shall dispose of it within ninety days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Home Department, Government of Gujarat.
