GOVERNMENT ORDER
Subject: The conduct of a pilgrimage by organisers of a pilgrimage under the Kerala Tourism (Conservation and Preservation of Areas) Act, 2005, regarding.
1. In the circumstances reported by the Director General, the Government of Kerala, after careful examination, hereby orders that every organiser of a pilgrimage carrying on the conduct of a pilgrimage shall furnish Form V to the Hotel Classification Committee within forty-five days.
2. The matter has been examined. Every organiser of a pilgrimage carrying on the conduct of a pilgrimage shall make an application in Form V to the Hotel Classification Committee within forty-five days, accompanied by a fee of fifty rupees.
3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the conduct of a pilgrimage is undertaken, and the Hotel Classification Committee shall dispose of it within forty-five days of its receipt.
4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Transport Department, Government of Kerala.
