ORDER

Subject: The working of a brewery by brewers under the Delhi Excise Act, 2009, regarding.

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 9 of the Delhi Excise Act, 2009 (Delhi Act 10 of 2009), the Lieutenant Governor of Delhi is pleased to order that

1. In the circumstances reported by the Excise Inspector, the Government of the National Capital Territory of Delhi, after careful examination, hereby orders that every brewer carrying on the working of a brewery shall furnish Form D to the Excise Appellate Authority within sixty days.

2. The matter has been examined. Every brewer carrying on the working of a brewery shall make an application in Form D to the Excise Appellate Authority within sixty days, accompanied by a fee of five thousand rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the working of a brewery is undertaken, and the Excise Appellate Authority shall dispose of it within sixty days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this order may be brought to the notice of the Registration and Stamps Department, Government of the National Capital Territory of Delhi.
