GOVERNMENT ORDER

Subject: The drawing and disbursement of funds by Drawing and Disbursing Officers under the Gujarat Infrastructure Development Act, 1999, regarding.

1. In the circumstances reported by the Controller of Accounts, the Government of Gujarat, after careful examination, hereby orders that every Drawing and Disbursing Officer carrying on the drawing and disbursement of funds shall furnish Form GFR 25 to the Procurement Authority within sixty days.

2. The matter has been examined. Every Drawing and Disbursing Officer carrying on the drawing and disbursement of funds shall make an application in Form GFR 25 to the Procurement Authority within sixty days, accompanied by a fee of five hundred rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the drawing and disbursement of funds is undertaken, and the Procurement Authority shall dispose of it within sixty days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Finance Department, Government of Gujarat.
