GOVERNMENT ORDER

Subject: The working of a brewery by brewers under the West Bengal Excise Act, 1909, regarding.

1. In the circumstances reported by the Excise Superintendent, the Government of West Bengal, after careful examination, hereby orders that every brewer carrying on the working of a brewery shall furnish Form F to the Excise Commissioner within thirty days.

2. The matter has been examined. Every brewer carrying on the working of a brewery shall make an application in Form F to the Excise Commissioner within thirty days, accompanied by a fee of one thousand rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the working of a brewery is undertaken, and the Excise Commissioner shall dispose of it within thirty days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Mines and Geology Department, Government of West Bengal.
