GOVERNMENT ORDER

Subject: The holding of land assessed to revenue by holders of land under the Odisha Survey and Settlement Act, 1959, regarding.

1. In the circumstances reported by the Naib Tahsildar, the Government of Odisha, after careful examination, hereby orders that every holder of land carrying on the holding of land assessed to revenue shall furnish Form 2 to the Collector within ninety days.

2. The matter has been examined. Every holder of land carrying on the holding of land assessed to revenue shall make an application in Form 2 to the Collector within ninety days, accompanied by a fee of twenty rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the holding of land assessed to revenue is undertaken, and the Collector shall dispose of it within ninety days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Education Department, Government of Odisha.
