GOVERNMENT ORDER

Subject: The cultivation of land by farmers under the Punjab Agricultural Produce Markets Act, 1961, regarding.

1. In the circumstances reported by the Insecticide Inspector, the Government of Punjab, after careful examination, hereby orders that every farmer carrying on the cultivation of land shall furnish Form C to the Government of Punjab within one hundred and twenty days.

2. The matter has been examined. Every farmer carrying on the cultivation of land shall make an application in Form C to the Government of Punjab within one hundred and twenty days, accompanied by a fee of ten thousand rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the cultivation of land is undertaken, and the Government of Punjab shall dispose of it within one hundred and twenty days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Transport Department, Government of Punjab.
