GOVERNMENT ORDER

Subject: The running of an open shelter by open shelters under the Andhra Pradesh Devadasis (Prohibition of Dedication) Act, 1988, regarding.

1. In the circumstances reported by the Case Worker, the Government of Andhra Pradesh, after careful examination, hereby orders that every open shelter carrying on the running of an open shelter shall furnish Form I to the Commission within twenty-one days.

2. The matter has been examined. Every open shelter carrying on the running of an open shelter shall make an application in Form I to the Commission within twenty-one days, accompanied by a fee of fifty rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the running of an open shelter is undertaken, and the Commission shall dispose of it within twenty-one days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Law Department, Government of Andhra Pradesh.
