GOVERNMENT ORDER

Subject: The management of a waqf by mutawallis under the Odisha Hindu Religious Endowments Act, 1952, regarding.

1. In the circumstances reported by the Waqf Officer, the Government of Odisha, after careful examination, hereby orders that every mutawalli carrying on the management of a waqf shall furnish Form D to the Deputy Charity Commissioner within sixty days.

2. The matter has been examined. Every mutawalli carrying on the management of a waqf shall make an application in Form D to the Deputy Charity Commissioner within sixty days, accompanied by a fee of two hundred and fifty rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the management of a waqf is undertaken, and the Deputy Charity Commissioner shall dispose of it within sixty days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Industries and Commerce Department, Government of Odisha.
