GOVERNMENT ORDER
Subject: The taking of evidence on commission by commissioners appointed by the court under the Bombay Court Fees Act, 1959, regarding.
1. In the circumstances reported by the Superintendent of the Copying Department, the Government of Maharashtra, after careful examination, hereby orders that every commissioner appointed by the court carrying on the taking of evidence on commission shall furnish Form D to the Registrar General within one hundred and twenty days.
2. The matter has been examined. Every commissioner appointed by the court carrying on the taking of evidence on commission shall make an application in Form D to the Registrar General within one hundred and twenty days, accompanied by a fee of twenty rupees.
3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the taking of evidence on commission is undertaken, and the Registrar General shall dispose of it within one hundred and twenty days of its receipt.
4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Law Department, Government of Maharashtra.
