Chennai, dated the 6th March, 2013

GOVERNMENT ORDER

Subject: The running of a private market by operators of a private market under the Tamil Nadu Town and Country Planning Act, 1972, regarding.

1. In the circumstances reported by the Licensing Officer, the Government of Tamil Nadu, after careful examination, hereby orders that every operator of a private market carrying on the running of a private market shall furnish Form E to the Commissioner within twenty-one days.

2. The matter has been examined. Every operator of a private market carrying on the running of a private market shall make an application in Form E to the Commissioner within twenty-one days, accompanied by a fee of one hundred rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the running of a private market is undertaken, and the Commissioner shall dispose of it within twenty-one days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Urban Development Department, Government of Tamil Nadu.
