GOVERNMENT ORDER

Subject: The collection of donations for a charity by collectors of donations under the Andhra Pradesh Societies Registration Act, 2001, regarding.

1. In the circumstances reported by the Auditor of Trusts, the Government of Andhra Pradesh, after careful examination, hereby orders that every collector of donations carrying on the collection of donations for a charity shall furnish Form B to the Government of Andhra Pradesh within forty-five days.

2. The matter has been examined. Every collector of donations carrying on the collection of donations for a charity shall make an application in Form B to the Government of Andhra Pradesh within forty-five days, accompanied by a fee of five thousand rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the collection of donations for a charity is undertaken, and the Government of Andhra Pradesh shall dispose of it within forty-five days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Home Department, Government of Andhra Pradesh.
