GOVERNMENT ORDER
Subject: Fishing in a reservoir by licensees of a fishery in a reservoir under the Maharashtra Irrigation Act, 1976, regarding.
1. In the circumstances reported by the Executive Engineer, the Government of Maharashtra, after careful examination, hereby orders that every licensee of a fishery in a reservoir carrying on fishing in a reservoir shall furnish Form G to the Ground Water Authority within seven days.
2. The matter has been examined. Every licensee of a fishery in a reservoir carrying on fishing in a reservoir shall make an application in Form G to the Ground Water Authority within seven days, accompanied by a fee of fifty rupees.
3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which fishing in a reservoir is undertaken, and the Ground Water Authority shall dispose of it within seven days of its receipt.
4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Information Technology Department, Government of Maharashtra.
