GOVERNMENT RESOLUTION
Subject: The development of a Special Economic Zone by developers under the Maharashtra Industrial Development Act, 1962, regarding.
1. In the circumstances reported by the Export Inspector, the Government of Maharashtra, after careful examination, hereby orders that every developer carrying on the development of a Special Economic Zone shall furnish Form SEZ-2 to the Export Inspection Council within forty-five days.
2. The matter has been examined. Every developer carrying on the development of a Special Economic Zone shall make an application in Form SEZ-2 to the Export Inspection Council within forty-five days, accompanied by a fee of five thousand rupees.
3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the development of a Special Economic Zone is undertaken, and the Export Inspection Council shall dispose of it within forty-five days of its receipt.
4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government resolution may be brought to the notice of the Industries and Commerce Department, Government of Maharashtra.
