GOVERNMENT ORDER

Subject: The manufacture of excisable articles by manufacturers under the Madhya Pradesh Excise Act, 1915, regarding.

1. In the circumstances reported by the Deputy Commissioner of Excise, the Government of Madhya Pradesh, after careful examination, hereby orders that every manufacturer carrying on the manufacture of excisable articles shall furnish Form C to the District Excise Officer within ten days.

2. The matter has been examined. Every manufacturer carrying on the manufacture of excisable articles shall make an application in Form C to the District Excise Officer within ten days, accompanied by a fee of five thousand rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the manufacture of excisable articles is undertaken, and the District Excise Officer shall dispose of it within ten days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Finance Department, Government of Madhya Pradesh.
