GOVERNMENT ORDER

Subject: The running of a cinema by owners of a cinema under the Tamil Nadu Exhibition of Films on Television Screen through Video Cassette Recorders (Regulation) Act, 1984, regarding.

1. In the circumstances reported by the Authorised Officer, the Government of Tamil Nadu, after careful examination, hereby orders that every owner of a cinema carrying on the running of a cinema shall furnish Form IV to the Board of Film Certification within thirty days.

2. The matter has been examined. Every owner of a cinema carrying on the running of a cinema shall make an application in Form IV to the Board of Film Certification within thirty days, accompanied by a fee of two thousand rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the running of a cinema is undertaken, and the Board of Film Certification shall dispose of it within thirty days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Finance Department, Government of Tamil Nadu.
