GOVERNMENT ORDER
Subject: The registration of instruments by registering officers under the Maharashtra Stamp Act, 1958, regarding.
1. In the circumstances reported by the Collector, the Government of Maharashtra, after careful examination, hereby orders that every registering officer carrying on the registration of instruments shall furnish Form B to the Collector within forty-five days.
2. The matter has been examined. Every registering officer carrying on the registration of instruments shall make an application in Form B to the Collector within forty-five days, accompanied by a fee of two hundred rupees.
3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the registration of instruments is undertaken, and the Collector shall dispose of it within forty-five days of its receipt.
4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Registration and Stamps Department, Government of Maharashtra.
