Chennai, dated the 2nd May, 2012

GOVERNMENT ORDER

Subject: The operation of a critical facility by operators of a critical facility under the Tamil Nadu Fire Service Act, 1985, regarding.

1. In the circumstances reported by the Emergency Officer, the Government of Tamil Nadu, after careful examination, hereby orders that every operator of a critical facility carrying on the operation of a critical facility shall furnish Form B to the Civil Defence Controller within three days.

2. The matter has been examined. Every operator of a critical facility carrying on the operation of a critical facility shall make an application in Form B to the Civil Defence Controller within three days, accompanied by a fee of five thousand rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the operation of a critical facility is undertaken, and the Civil Defence Controller shall dispose of it within three days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Revenue and Disaster Management Department, Government of Tamil Nadu.
