Amaravati, dated the 20th February, 2012

GOVERNMENT ORDER

Subject: The construction of a building in a village by owners of a building in a village under the Andhra Pradesh Panchayat Raj Act, 1994, regarding.

1. In the circumstances reported by the Secretary of the Gram Panchayat, the Government of Andhra Pradesh, after careful examination, hereby orders that every owner of a building in a village carrying on the construction of a building in a village shall furnish Form 2 to the District Panchayat within twenty-one days.

2. The matter has been examined. Every owner of a building in a village carrying on the construction of a building in a village shall make an application in Form 2 to the District Panchayat within twenty-one days, accompanied by a fee of twenty rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the construction of a building in a village is undertaken, and the District Panchayat shall dispose of it within twenty-one days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Urban Development Department, Government of Andhra Pradesh.
