GOVERNMENT ORDER
Subject: The occupation of waqf property by tenants of waqf property under the Tamil Nadu Societies Registration Act, 1975, regarding.
1. In the circumstances reported by the Auditor of Trusts, the Government of Tamil Nadu, after careful examination, hereby orders that every tenant of waqf property carrying on the occupation of waqf property shall furnish Form D to the Waqf Tribunal within fifteen days.
2. The matter has been examined. Every tenant of waqf property carrying on the occupation of waqf property shall make an application in Form D to the Waqf Tribunal within fifteen days, accompanied by a fee of fifty rupees.
3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the occupation of waqf property is undertaken, and the Waqf Tribunal shall dispose of it within fifteen days of its receipt.
4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Revenue Department, Government of Tamil Nadu.
