GOVERNMENT ORDER
Subject: The holding of land assessed to revenue by holders of land under the West Bengal Estates Acquisition Act, 1954, regarding.
1. In the circumstances reported by the Village Accountant, the Government of West Bengal, after careful examination, hereby orders that every holder of land carrying on the holding of land assessed to revenue shall furnish Form 14 to the Tahsildar within fifteen days.
2. The matter has been examined. Every holder of land carrying on the holding of land assessed to revenue shall make an application in Form 14 to the Tahsildar within fifteen days, accompanied by a fee of five hundred rupees.
3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the holding of land assessed to revenue is undertaken, and the Tahsildar shall dispose of it within fifteen days of its receipt.
4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Information Technology Department, Government of West Bengal.
