GOVERNMENT ORDER

Subject: The operation of a dam in an emergency by operators of a dam under the Andhra Pradesh Fire Service Act, 1999, regarding.

1. In the circumstances reported by the Relief Officer, the Government of Andhra Pradesh, after careful examination, hereby orders that every operator of a dam carrying on the operation of a dam in an emergency shall furnish Form C to the District Authority within fourteen days.

2. The matter has been examined. Every operator of a dam carrying on the operation of a dam in an emergency shall make an application in Form C to the District Authority within fourteen days, accompanied by a fee of five hundred rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the operation of a dam in an emergency is undertaken, and the District Authority shall dispose of it within fourteen days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Energy Department, Government of Andhra Pradesh.
