GOVERNMENT ORDER

Subject: The letting of premises by landlords under the Uttar Pradesh Urban Buildings (Regulation of Letting, Rent and Eviction) Act, 1972, regarding.

1. In the circumstances reported by the Estate Officer, the Government of Uttar Pradesh, after careful examination, hereby orders that every landlord carrying on the letting of premises shall furnish Form E to the Rent Authority within seven days.

2. The matter has been examined. Every landlord carrying on the letting of premises shall make an application in Form E to the Rent Authority within seven days, accompanied by a fee of five hundred rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the letting of premises is undertaken, and the Rent Authority shall dispose of it within seven days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Housing Department, Government of Uttar Pradesh.
