Puducherry, dated the 11th September, 2011

GOVERNMENT ORDER

Subject: The grazing of cattle on Government waste land by graziers on Government waste land under the Puducherry Land Reforms (Fixation of Ceiling on Land) Act, 1973, regarding.

1. In the circumstances reported by the Naib Tahsildar, the Government of Puducherry, after careful examination, hereby orders that every grazier on Government waste land carrying on the grazing of cattle on Government waste land shall furnish Form 14 to the Tahsildar within one hundred and twenty days.

2. The matter has been examined. Every grazier on Government waste land carrying on the grazing of cattle on Government waste land shall make an application in Form 14 to the Tahsildar within one hundred and twenty days, accompanied by a fee of one thousand rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the grazing of cattle on Government waste land is undertaken, and the Tahsildar shall dispose of it within one hundred and twenty days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Revenue Department, Government of Puducherry.
