GOVERNMENT ORDER

Subject: The sinking of a well on Government land by owners of a well on Government land under the Odisha Land Reforms Act, 1960, regarding.

1. In the circumstances reported by the Deputy Tahsildar, the Government of Odisha, after careful examination, hereby orders that every owner of a well on Government land carrying on the sinking of a well on Government land shall furnish Form 14 to the State Government within one hundred and twenty days.

2. The matter has been examined. Every owner of a well on Government land carrying on the sinking of a well on Government land shall make an application in Form 14 to the State Government within one hundred and twenty days, accompanied by a fee of two hundred rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the sinking of a well on Government land is undertaken, and the State Government shall dispose of it within one hundred and twenty days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Social Welfare Department, Government of Odisha.
