GOVERNMENT ORDER

Subject: Membership of a society by members under the Kerala Co-operative Societies Act, 1969, regarding.

1. In the circumstances reported by the Agricultural Officer, the Government of Kerala, after careful examination, hereby orders that every member carrying on membership of a society shall furnish Form G to the Registrar of Co-operative Societies within one hundred and twenty days.

2. The matter has been examined. Every member carrying on membership of a society shall make an application in Form G to the Registrar of Co-operative Societies within one hundred and twenty days, accompanied by a fee of two hundred and fifty rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which membership of a society is undertaken, and the Registrar of Co-operative Societies shall dispose of it within one hundred and twenty days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Information and Public Relations Department, Government of Kerala.
