GOVERNMENT RESOLUTION

Subject: The sale of poisons by licensees for the sale of poisons under the Maharashtra Control of Organised Crime Act, 1999, regarding.

1. In the circumstances reported by the Station House Officer, the Government of Maharashtra, after careful examination, hereby orders that every licensee for the sale of poisons carrying on the sale of poisons shall furnish Form I to the Sub-Divisional Magistrate within fourteen days.

2. The matter has been examined. Every licensee for the sale of poisons carrying on the sale of poisons shall make an application in Form I to the Sub-Divisional Magistrate within fourteen days, accompanied by a fee of one thousand rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the sale of poisons is undertaken, and the Sub-Divisional Magistrate shall dispose of it within fourteen days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government resolution may be brought to the notice of the Home Department, Government of Maharashtra.
